This image is a remastered copy of Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) by Dell's Linux Engineering team. It includes native system hardware support for these systems.

  Creating The DVD

• Free ISO Recorder for Windows (Not a Dell Product)
• In Gnome (Ubuntu), double-click on the ISO file to burn it. Firefox normally saves the file to your desktop.

DRU stands for "Disc Remastering Utility". It is a tool designed to create a customized copy of the Ubuntu Linux Distribution.
 

Installation Instructions

• cd to a directory where you would like to setup DRU's devel environment
• Copy and paste the following bold line below into a terminal.
• wget -q -O- http://linux.dell.com/dru/install.sh | bash
• You will need sudo privileges to install APT packages.

DRUdell is Dell's target project for DRU, which is used to create the customized distribution of Ubuntu to include native hardware support for supported systems.
