I succeeded !
Now, my PowerEdge 2600 with PERC 4/Di is running Suse 8.1 whithout
any problem.  In fact, I strictly follow the instructions of this
page:  http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/hmeyer_driver_update.html
 
And it works perfectly.

Here it is

The disk I created is not really complete because I only build the two
modules that I needed (2.4.19-4G and 2.4.19-64G-SMP) but I think that it
will be usefull for any person in exactly the same situation (I mean
PowerEdge 2600 with 512M RAM, PERC 4/Di and Suse8.1)
