SuSE and PERC2, PERC2/Si, PERC3/Si, PERC3/Di
Here are the steps to load the driver for the above RAID controllers
when using SuSE 7.1:

1. Boot your systems with SuSE 7.1 CD, at the "boot" prompt, type
"manual" and hit Enter key.

2. Once you choose the language, display, and keyboad map, select 
"kernel modules (hardware drivers)" followed by 
"Load SCSI module" followed by 
"aacraid : Adaptec RAID" without any paramaters to pass to the driver. 
Here, you can select other SCSI drivers also. 

3. Go back to the "Main Menu" and choose "Start installation / system"
to install your system.
