Installation
1. Read over the release information presented by executing the "./TAPE_FRMW_LX_R203223.BIN --version" command from the shell.
2. Download and install any prerequisites identified in the above step before proceeding.
3. If it is a BIOS update package, install any necessary Embedded Systems Management firmware prior to this BIOS update.
4. Run the update by executing "./TAPE_FRMW_LX_R203223.BIN" from the shell.
5. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.

    <Display lang="en"><![CDATA[The Linux applications requires a minimum of RHEL3 with GCC 3.2.3 or at least SLES9 Enterprise Edition. To update tape devices on systems with earlier versions of linux, please remove the drive from that system then perform the update with the tape drive connected to a system with a supported version of Linux. After the update is complete return the drive to the original system.  

**updating the device via DFU will allow user to update one device at a time.  Using the Dell Update Packages will update all devices found on the system automatically.]]></Display>
