Processor Settings
Use this window to control the processor(s) settings.
NOTE: This help page may include information about features and values not supported by your system. Server Administrator only displays the features and values that are supported on your system.

Logical Processor
Each processor core supports up to two logical processors.
Enabled (default) The BIOS reports all logical processors.
Disabled The BIOS only reports one logical processor per core.

QPI Speed
Controls QuickPath Interconnect data rate settings.

Alternate RTID (Requestor Transaction ID) setting
Enabled Allocates more RTIDs to the remote socket increasing cache performance between the sockets.
Disabled (default) Normal mode for NUMA.

Virtualization Technology
When enabled, the additional hardware capabilities provided by Virtualization Technology are available for use.
NOTE: Changing this option will result in a system power down of approximately 3-5 seconds after exiting the system setup program.

Adjacent Cache Line Prefetch
When enabled (default), the system is optimized for applications that require high utilization of sequential memory access. Disable this option for applications that require high utilization of random memory access.

Hardware Prefetcher
Enables or disables the hardware prefetcher.

DCU Streamer Prefetcher
Enables (default) or disables DCU Streamer Prefetcher.

DCU IP Prefetcher
Enables (default) or disables DCU IP Prefetcher.

Execute Disable
Specifies whether Execute Disable Memory Protection Technology is enabled.
Enabled (default) The Execute Disable Memory Protection Technology is enabled.
Disabled The Execute Disable Memory Protection Technology is disabled.

Number of Cores per Processor
Controls the number of enabled cores in each processor. By default, the maximum number of cores per processor is enabled.

Processor 64-bit Support
Specifies whether the installed processor(s) support 64-bit extensions.

Processor Core Speed
Displays the clock speed of the processor(s).

Family-Model-Stepping
Displays the processor's family, model, and stepping values.

Brand
Displays the brand text provided by the processor manufacturer.

Level2 Cache
Displays the amount of memory in the corresponding processor cache.

Level3 Cache
Displays the amount of memory in the corresponding processor cache.

Number of Cores
Displays the number of cores in the processor package.

Other Window Controls
Print Prints a copy of the open window to your default printer.
Export Saves a text file containing the contents of this window (the values of each data field separated by a customizable delimiter) to a destination you specify.
E-mail E-mails the contents of this window to your designated recipient. See the Server Administrator User's Guide for instructions about configuring your Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server.
Refresh Updates the screen with latest information.
Help Displays the online help for this page.
