Removable Flash Media Information

Internal SD Modules and vFlash Media

Removable flash media is a memory device. It is about the size of a postage stamp. The benefits of this card include a high data transfer rate and low battery consumption. It uses flash memory to provide non-volatile storage. This means that a power source is not required to retain stored data.

NOTE: This help page may include information about features not supported by your system. Server Administrator only displays features that are supported on your system.
NOTE: Internal SD card and vFlash media refers to Dell™ SD card and Dell certified vFlash media.

Lost: Indicates that the system is not redundant, and that an additional device failure will result in a system failure.

NOTE: If the internal SD module redundancy is disabled, Server Administrator will not display the Internal Dual SD Module Redundancy information.
