ISO File Naming Convention

The ISO file resulting from DRUdell and DRU follows the naming convention: 

ubuntu-7.04-desktop-i386-dell-0.1-1.iso

ubuntu-version-desktop-i386-dell-DRUversion-vers.iso

The above fields are filled in as such:

  • version - Version of Ubuntu Desktop.
  • DRUversion - Version of DRU.
  • vers - Version of DRUdell for version.

The version number of DRUdell comes from the latest repository tag, where the first part of the tag is the codename of Ubuntu version. 

Example:
  ubuntu-7.04-desktop-i386-dell-0.1-1.iso

The example corresponds to Ubuntu Feisty Desktop, modified by DRU v0.1, and DRUdell feisty-1.
