Free / Open Source Drivers
With the exceptions noted below, all drivers necessary for this system are Free/Open Source, either included in the Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn CD or installed as a part of the factory-image. The add-on drivers can also be found on support.dell.com and Feisty repositories. Refer to the table here for a full list of add-on packages.
Restricted Drivers
Systems may be ordered with optional components which require non-Free/Open Source drivers.
- Intel IPW3945
- Conexant modem requires the proprietary hsfmodem driver. This is available only from here.
