Description: With NVidia graphics with the nv driver and connected to an external monitor, cycling through all display modes causes X to be displayed on only half the laptop screen. The rest of the screen is dark.
Systems Affected: Inspiron E1505n
Impact: Unable to use with X Windows Manager.
Workaround: Restart X (Ctrl+Alt+Backspace) or switch to a virtual console and back.
