Description: Enabling "compiz" or "beryl" hangs system.
Systems Affected: Inspiron 1420n.
Impact: System locks up. Reboot required to recover.
Workaround: Upgrade packages libgl1-mesa-dri and libgl1-mesa-glx to version 6.5.2-3ubuntu8.
Fix: Work in Progress. See LP123879.
Description: Intel i965 video card not supported.
Systems Affected: Inspiron 1420n.
Impact: No video.
Workaround: Install new packages xserver-xorg-video-i810_1.7.4-0ubuntu2_i386.deb and 915resolution_0.5.3-0ubuntu1_i386.deb.
Fix: Work in Prgress. See

Description: Cycling through display modes fails.
Systems Affected: Inspiron 1420n.
Impact: When an external monitor is connected, using Fn+F8 does not allow one to cycle through all display modes.
Workaround: Install new packages xserver-xorg-video-i810_1.7.4-0ubuntu2_i386.deb and 915resolution_0.5.3-0ubuntu1_i386.deb.
