Wide Screen Flat panel cannot be driven in their native resolution when connected as external monitor to an E1505 with Intel Graphics. Even if the local LCD display ( e.g. WSXGA+) has native resolution of 1680x1050, the default i810 driver will allow only resolution up to 1280x1024. Installing 915resolution package will allow native resolution on internal LCD, however, the display cannot be switched to an external Wide Screen Flat Panel supporting the same resolution. Attempting to do that will either show blank screen on the external display
