Diagnostic Hardware Configuration Changes

Use this window to view changes that have occurred to the testable devices on your system since the system was rebooted, since the Web server was restarted, or since the re-enumeration was done. This window reports the following types of changes:

Hardware Configuration Change History Controls

Print Prints the contents of the window's data area using the default printer for your system.
Email E-mails the contents of this window to your designated recipient. See the Server Administrator User's Guide for instructions about configuring your Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server.
Acknowledge The hardware configuration changes currently shown in the window are cleared and moved to the Hardware Configuration Change History window. Your new configuration is now stored as a baseline to compare with configuration changes in the future.
Hardware Change History Opens the Hardware Configuration Change History window, which displays a record of hardware configuration changes.

note.gif NOTE: You must click Acknowledge to accept the changes. After clicking Acknowledge, the changes appear on the Hardware Change History window.
note.gif NOTE: The Hardware Configuration function scans only those devices that can be tested using the Diagnostic Service.
note.gif NOTE: Certain hardware changes are not detected by the Diagnostic Service; for example, when a device is replaced by the same kind of device in the same location.
